With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Wayne Lane of Canute, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Floyd and Rosa Ella Lane (Johnson); and his nephew Dustin Lane. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Lynn Morgan of Canute, Oklahoma; his sons, Michael W. Lane (Cynthia) of El Reno and David W. Lane of Canute, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Andrew Lane of El Reno and Issac Lane of El Reno, Oklahoma; his siblings, James H. Lane (Pat) of Joplin, Stanley T. Lane (Pauline) of McCurtain, Oklahoma, Glenda Jean McCullar of Oklahoma City and Rose Mary Burkett (Mitch) of Stigler, Oklahoma; and his close friends, Norma Warnke, Juan Cortez (Tessa, family: Robert Rioux), Dale Harrell (Patty) of Canute, Oklahoma, Wayne Walters (Shaun) of Canute, Oklahoma, Victor Wantabe of Canute, Oklahoma and Vicky Lunsford of Canute, Oklahoma.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Norma's (321 Main St, Canute, OK 73626).
