She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, George Crowder and Leona Crowder (White); her daughters, Jan Mead of Colorado, Donna Sneed of Oklahoma and Pam Bickell of Oklahoma; her former life partner David E. Mathis; and her husband Charles Thompson. She was also cherished by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; numerous other friends and family members.
