Lincoln Aitson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lincoln Aitson (Carnegie, Oklahoma), who passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Amos Aitson, Sr. (Lucille Tsalote Aitson); his wife Maxine Gouladdle-Aitson; his granddaughter Tameka Ashley Diane Pixley; his mother Lucille Tsalote Aitson; his aunt Emma Lee Aitson-Unap; his uncle Joseph James Aitson, Sr.; and his brother Joshua Aitson.
He is survived by: his children, Lincoln Vernon Aitson, Jr. (Amber) of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Birdie Charmae Aitson of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Mindy Yellowtail (Johnny Cowley) of Wyoming and Samuel Otis of Carnegie, Oklahoma; his sisters, Cora Lou Aitson (Amos Aitson, Jr.), Jalaine Marie Aitson, Imogene Honey-Lynn Aitson and Robin J. Eagleheart Aitson (Ronny); his aunts, Carrie and Sara Poorbuffalo; and his uncle Louis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was very instrumental in the construction of the modern-day Kiowa Tribal Complex, leaving a lasting contribution to the Kiowa Tribe.
