C.), Claudia Johnson, Olen, Louise Richardson, Odis, Willie, Evelyn Freeman, Freddie Crayton and Shirley Jo Wates.
He is survived by: his son Jerald Allan Wates; his wife Carolyn Miles of Boswell; his daughter Ramona Lachele of Bedford; his brother Lyndal Frank Wates; his grandchildren, Samantha Eddins, Joshua Brackeen, D'Angelo Brackeen, North and Obadiah Brackeen (Genesis); his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Yasmine, Arden and Amaris Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Debose-Boyd, Rev. Cecil Miles (Mattie) and Thurman Miles (Elizabeth).
