It is with sadness that the passing of Willard Lawerence Dyer of Carter, Oklahoma is shared. Willard, born on April 23, 1938, passed away on October 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawson and Zelma Dyer (Blankenship); his siblings, William Donald Dyer, Franklin Roosevelt "Rosie" Dyer of Martha Mae, Barry, J. T. Dyer, Troy Lee Dyer, Roy Dean Dyer and Charles Edward Dyer; his nieces, Tina Renea Dyer and Dana Sue Dyer; and his nephew Justin Dean Barry.

He is survived by: his sister Charlene Dyer; his nieces, Melisa Hearn and Kathy Cook; and his sister-in-law Shirley Dyer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Whinery Funeral Service & Cremation Center (403 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carter Cemetery (19455 E 1230 Rd, Carter, OK 73627).
