He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Cottrell and Roberta Cottrell; his grandparents, Delbert, Wilma Cottrell, Robert Lee Barrett and Finy Moore; and his nephew Joshua Gene Cottrell Jr..
He is survived by: his brothers, Kelly Cottrell (Stephanie Cottrell) of Okmulgee and Josh Cottrell (Brittany Young) of Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 8 nephews; 3 nieces; 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Home (410 Cole Ave, Fletcher, OK 73541). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fletcher First Baptist Church (301 W Hornaday, Fletcher, OK 73541).
