It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nick Thomas Smith in Chandler, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Nick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clifford, Vada Smith (Echols), Danny and Glenda Johnstone; his stepfather Don VanCuren; and his uncle Gary VanCuren.
He is survived by: his father Murl Smith; his wife Linda; and his mother Pam VanCuren. He is also survived by numerous cousins, stepbrothers, aunts, uncles, and friends.
