John P. Goodknight Obituary
We bid farewell to John P. Goodknight of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 86. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Goodknight and Anna Lorena Goodknight (Perry); his son James; his sister Georgia Ann Regan; and his great grandchild Colby Sheppard.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Goodknight; his children, Darla Andrew (Bill) of Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Charles Goodknight of Dallas and Cody Goodknight (Kara) of Chattanooga; his grandsons, Sean Andrew (LaToshia), Brett Andrew (Thania), Brody and Benton Goodknight; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn Hadley, Ethan Andrew and AuBree Rejman (Gabe); and his great great grandchildren, RaLeigh Andrew and Connor Hadley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Home (921 W Gladstone Ave, Frederick, OK 73542). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga School (507 4th St, Chattanooga, OK 73528). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Chattanooga Cemetery.
