We bid farewell to John P. Goodknight of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 86. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W Goodknight and Anna Lorena Goodknight (Perry); his son James; his sister Georgia Ann Regan; and his great grandchild Colby Sheppard.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Goodknight; his children, Darla Andrew (Bill) of Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Charles Goodknight of Dallas and Cody Goodknight (Kara) of Chattanooga; his grandsons, Sean Andrew (LaToshia), Brett Andrew (Thania), Brody and Benton Goodknight; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn Hadley, Ethan Andrew, AuBree Rejman (Gabe) and Anthony Tazzetto; his great great grandchildren, RaLeigh Andrew and Connor Hadley; his stepdaughter Denise Saunders (Roger) of Park Hill, Oklahoma; his stepgrandchildren, Julie Watson, Remington, Katie Patrick (Brayden) and Ryan Saunders; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brinn Watson and Cash Watson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.
