He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Everett and Rebecca Mitchell (Hill); and his siblings, Jackie, Bobby Mitchell and Lana Spears.
He is survived by : his son Danny Mitchell (Jessica); his granddaughter Juna Mitchell of Checotah; his sister Kathy Nelson; and his aunt Rusty Hill of Oktaha.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (311 SW 2nd St, Checotah, OK 74426). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
