He was predeceased by: his parents, William Plez and Sina Fairchild (Evans); his sons, Frankie, Gary and Jerry; his siblings, Linda "Trigger" Langston, Violet "Sissy" Jackson, Irene Wilson, Juanita Fairchild, Houston "Tuffy" Fairchild, Denny Fairchild and Danny Fairchild; and his grandson Jason Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Brinsfield; his sons, Jimmy Fairchild (Elizabeth) of Checotah, Roger Fairchild of Fort Gibson and Will Fairchild (Charlotte) of Checotah; his brothers, William "Poochie" Fairchild of Tahlequah and Evertt Fairchild of Tulsa; and his grandchildren, Ryan Fairchild, Stacey Smith, Misty Westfall, Justin Fairchild, Jerry "Bo" Fairchild, Measa Carper, Mitch Fairchild, Casey Fairchild, Trey Fairchild and Shelby Fairchild. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
