Jacqueline Laurein Munsell Obituary

Jacqueline Lourene Munsell, 43, of Checotah, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1979 to Cobey Morgan and Kathryn (Bennett) Scoggins in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She attended Muskogee High School and furthered her education at Connors State College after graduating.

She married her best friend, Kyle Douglas Munsell on December 15, 2006 in Muskogee, OK. They shared over 15 years of marriage and memories together.

She enjoyed bird watching, reading her Bible, and finding interesting and historical places to go visit on family road trips.

She was preceded by her grandparents, Richard and Virginia Bennett; stepfather, James Scoggins; uncle, Ronald Bennett; and great-grandparents, George and Lillie Kennedy.

She is survived by husband, Kyle Munsell of the home; sons, Austin Sasser and wife Kelly Dawn of Muskogee, OK, Wesley Sasser of Checotah, OK, and Connor Munsell of Checotah, OK; father, Cobey Morgan; mother, Kathryn Bennett Scoggins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doug and Connie Munsell all of Muskogee, OK; sister, Alicia Zelsnack of Vineland, NJ; brother, Sedrick Zelsnack of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Dakota Woolard, Michael Douglas, Stanley Woolard, and Alexandria Woolard all of California, Katelyn Barker of Muskogee, OK, and granddaughter on the way, Elizabeth Sasser; and a host of other family members and friends.

A celebration of Jacqueline's life will be 3PM, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel.
