James Fowler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Fowler of Checotah, Oklahoma, born in Haskell, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Mack" Fowler and Maudie Fowler (Foster); and his brothers, Jerry and Jackie Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Fowler; his children, Sheila Goad (Ronnie) of Checotah, Deborah Christian (Jeff) of Checotah and James Fowler (Samantha) of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, TJ Christian (Jill), Ryan Goad, Jackie, Cade Christian (Taylor), Callie Kaiser (Cameron), Ashley Jackson, Johnny, Colby Christian and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Carson, Kinlee, Kyson, Emmett, Mathayus, Corra, Titus, Camille, Trudie and Cooper; his sister Glenda Wood (John); and his sister-in-law Betty Fowler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
