We announce the death of Jo Ann Oliver of Checotah, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 69. Jo Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Goodman and Louise Goodman (Pierce); her husband Steven Oliver, Sr.; her great grandchild Koda; her nephew Chris Higgins; and her pets, Buddy, Roxy, Jack, Tyson and Penny.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Oliver Jr. of Yukon, Tony Michael Oliver (Lisa) of Oklahoma City and Zachary Wayne Oliver (Jamie Johnson) of Checotah; her grandchildren, Michael, Asia, Krista, Kenna, Skyla, Alexa, Reina and Worthy; her great grandchildren, William, Aida, Trinity and Silas; her sister Becky Higgins of Pauls Valley; her brother-in-law Dan Oliver (Nelda) of Oklahoma City; and her pets, Duke and Millie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
