It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Dobson of Checotah, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Turner and Golda Turner (Story); her husband L. J. Dobson, Jr.; her son Hal Dobson; her granddaughter Angela Campbell Jones; her grandson-in-law Roger Campbell; her grandson Eli Dobson; and her siblings, Roberta Williams, Geneva Marks, Houston Turner and Lavaughn Huff.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Terri Lane and Dorinda Chambers; her daughter Lahoma Jean Conn (James "Shorty" Conn); her grandchildren, Jamie King (Dave), James V. Conn, Jr. (Diana), Tessa Warren (Anthony), Leah Whitman (Jacob), Jesse Dobson and Shanoah Dobson; and her sisters, Mary Jo Richards, Reba Robinson and Judy Freeman. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a lifetime of friends.
