With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alfred of Checotah, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 9, 2026 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Diane Alfred (Tedlock); and his brother Rob Alfred. He is survived by: his father Steven Alfred of Checotah; and his sisters, Samantha Alfred-Cuevas (Lisa) of Warner, Marcella Landis (Garrett) of Warner and Amberdawn Tusia (Jared) of Broken Arrow.
