With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Welker of Checotah, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Schuler and Beatrice Schuler (Hellman); her husband Tom Welker; and her brothers, Bill Schuler (Rosemary), Marvin Schuler, Mike Schuler and Wayne Schuler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Comages (Derek) of Checotah and Tamara Williams (Matt) of Porum; her grandchildren, Piper Williams, Dax Comages and Atticus Comages; her sisters, Joan Arthur (Dave), Barb Agne (Brad), Doris Halbruegge and Debbie Schuler; her sisters-in-law, Jean McElwee (Bob), Terri Hickman (Dan), Barb Reutner Schuler, Linda Skornia and Michelle Gillentine; and her pet Hondo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
