In the sacred silence of farewell, Tamar is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tamar's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Lawson and Iva Lawson-Wilson (McAllister). She is survived by: her husband Paul Pruett; her daughter Dawn Thomas of Shawnee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Gaven Thomas, Gabriel Thomas and Sky Burton (Andrew Burton); her great grandchildren, Mandek Burton, Lincoln Burton and Kilynn Davidson; and her siblings, Kevin Lawson, Joyce Meyerpeter, Karen Franklin and Debbie Hager. She is also survived by other family members and dear friends.
