He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Ruth Roark (Brockman) and Charles Clinton Roark; his great grandchild Christopher Dawson; his siblings, Violet Long, Frank Roark, Ruth Cook, Monnie Davis, Lillian Cantrell and Charles Roark; and his son-in-law Thomas Hoey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Roark (Kight); his children, Charlotte Roark (Dale Rinehart) of Fort Gibson, OK, Paul Lewis Roark of Minneapolis, MN and Cindy Hammack (Kelly); his grandchildren, Randy Hopson of Checotah, OK, Amanda Hogner (Justin), Anthony Roark (Samantha), Andrew Roark of Park Hill, OK, Corey Joseph (Jared) and Casey Hammack (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Daryn, Shonna, Julie, Mellisa, Ashley, Tony, Ava, Bentley, Lydia, Michael, Scott and Claire; his siblings, Lois Shanks of Oklahoma City, OK, Fern Andrews of Sallisaw, OK and John Roark of Vian, OK; Jillian Hopson of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Round Mountain Church.
