She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee and Thelma Leona Powell (Dick); her husband Keith Melton; her sister Mary Helen DeLozier; the father of her children Gene Doolittle; and her pet Pepper.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Doolittle (Charlotte), Jeanine Goodson, Randy Doolittle (Sherri) and Lori Rosendo (Rico); her grandchildren, Jamie Starling (Roger), Christopher Smith (Cristine), Jason Goodson (Leann), Josh Goodson (Mary), Amber Dawson (Matt), Chase Pritchett, Justin Doolittle, Trey Doolittle, Angelina Dunn (Keith) and Miguel Rosendo (Eilise); her great grandchildren, Scott, Zach, Abby, Lexi, Rooke, Ellah, Sturgill, Henry, Alice, Cecilia, Solomon and Romee; her great great grandchild Audrey; and her siblings, Dean Powell and Lura Barber (Larry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
