He is survived by: his children, Scott Gillispie (Tammy) and Lisa Urie; his grandchildren, Jeremy Gillispie, Alex Curry, Dillon Curry, Addyson Urie, Michael Gillispie, Eric Gillispie, Megan Booth, Kevin Gillispie, Blake Lucas, Amy Aston, Amanda Byrd, Ashley Byrd, Dusty Byrd, Emily Byrd, Crystal Byrd and Brandi Byrd; and his siblings, Joyce Colpin, Darlene Royal (Alan), Jeannie Smith, Marshall Gillispie and Kenneth Smith (Toni). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the DeLozier Funeral Service (806 Walnut St, Chelsea, OK 74016). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
