He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Elam (Gregory) and Leroy Elam; his son Gregory Elam; and his sister-in-law Renee Elam. He is survived by: his significant other Sadly; his children, Michael Elam, Brian Elam, Kyle Elam, Scott England, Stacey England and Todd Shepherd; his siblings, Jimmy Elam, Jerry Elam (Carol), Nelda Conger, Diana Garner and Betty Mitchell (Larry); his grandchildren, Brittany Elam, Taylor Shockey (Jeff), Rionna Beard, Tianna Collins (Ray), Tyler Elam, Tristan England, Gracelynn Shepherd and Jax England; his great grandchildren, Nando Valenzuela, Lynette Malone and Creed Shockey; and his cousin Karen Immemschuh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
