He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Gerber Carpenter; his children, James of Hastings, Jeff (Carol) of Anaconda, Lance (Carrie) of Lakewood, Colorado, Susan Yarborough of Tennessee, Teresa Petty of Commerce City and Annalisa Roggow (Tim) of Alva, Oklahoma; and his sister-in-law Glenda Stone. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
