With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Donald Groves (Cherokee, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda; his parents, Jo Begley and Lynn Mitchell; and his stepbrother Bob Phillips. He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Parr; his grandchildren, Abby Fleming (Aaron) of Shreveport and Eric Parr (Tina) of Yukon; his great grandchildren, Collin (Ashley) of Conway, Cale, Callen and Camryn of Yukon; his great great grandchildren, Ella, Briggs and Dawson; and his half-brother Jim Begley (Peggy).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made out to the First Christian Church of Cherokee, OK.
