He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Stringer and Emma Lou Stringer (Henderson). He is survived by: his brothers, Spurgeon Lynn and Lynn Stringer of Wilmington, NC; his nephew Dr. Bradley Stringer (Deborah) of Boston, MA; his great-nephew Sam; his great-niece Emily; his mother-in-law Darlene Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Stevenson, Robert Scott and Thomas Scott (Becky). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
