He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Constance (Najmolovski) and Nicholas John Szabo, Sr.; his sister Marsha Bartels; his grandsons, Rilee and Jeffrey Szabo; and his sister-in-law Deb Szabo.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Sara Szabo, Nicholas John Szabo, III, Janna Szabo and Eva Szabo; and his brother Paul Szabo. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
