She was predeceased by: her parents, W. R. Ashby and Ruth Ashby; her sister Sherry Stringfellow; and her daughters, Amber Dawn Keeling and Celeste Alaryce Keeling (Charles Williams).
She is survived by: her sister Sherry Ruth; her husband Donald Painter; her daughters, Malacha Nunley and Desiree Keeling; and her granddaughters, Tiarah Nunley, Telirah Childers, Heavun Nunley, Electra Thornburg, Ma'Haylie Nunley and Brooklynn Thornburg.
