He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jones and Mentha Sterling Jones; and his grandparents, Johnny Sterling, Mary Machalske, Ilga Jones and Vaughn Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Arthur Sterling, Nathaniel Sterling and Johnny Sterling; and his sisters, Robbin Archer, Rebecca Bordwine and Amber Dodd.
