He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Thomas and Josephine Kennell; and his brothers, Melvin Thomas and Marvin Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughters, Judy Calhoun, Linda Johnson and Joann Sharp; his sister Rosie Blevins; and his half-siblings, Carolyn Belk (Toy Belk), Bonnie Storts (Bruce Storts), Mary Ann Slaton and Raymond Thomas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren as well as many close friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sevier Funeral Home (702 W Chickasha Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fairlawn Cemetery.
