He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Hegwald, Sr. and Mary Kathleen Hegwald (Holmes); and his brother Ronald Hegwald. He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Herring; his wife Samantha Johnson; his children, Charles Hegwald of Fletcher and Jamie Shepherd of Apache; his sister Kathie Rodgers (Mike) of Ninnekah; his grandchildren, Kyzer, Hugh, Harmony and Gentry; his aunt Francis Hall; and his cousins, Jimmie, Rita Smith, Logan Hall and Carla Hall. He is also survived by other numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
