He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Sevier and Virginia Sevier (Hambrick); his wife Linda Sevier (Knowles); his son Joe Todd Sevier; and his niece Brandie Kay Hughes.

He is survived by: his granddaughter April Dawn; his son-in-law Jeff (Alice Hurry); his nieces, Candice Knowles and Danielle Knowles Hodge; his daughter April Dawn Kile (Jeff Kile); his grandsons, Jeremy Todd Kile, Austin Quinn Kile (Ereka Tallent) and Brayden Christopher Kile; his sisters, Betty Rogers, Patsy Holstein and Janice Say; Ereka.
