With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mildred McMeans of Chickasha, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mildred left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 104, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid adieu to Mildred's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mildred has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reynolds and Kate Reynolds (Young); her husband Robert McMeans; her sister Billie Cook; and her son-in-law Jim Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Martin of Amber, OK; her granddaughters, Jamie Caves (Matt) of Amber, OK and Amy Hargis (Jeremy) of Oklahoma City, OK; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Karter Caves of Amber, OK and Henry Hargis of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the College Heights Baptist Church (1202 W Grand Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018).
