As Nelda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nelda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nelda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Entz and Mattie Entz; her husband George Sterling Slover; her close friend CraigAnn Ummel; and her nephew Steven Ray Helmly of Georgia.
She is survived by: her nephew Ron Helmly (Maria) of Jackson, GA; her niece Diane Fairey (Robbie) of Johns Island, SC.; Peggy. She is also survived by six great nieces and nephews, along with several great-great nieces, and nephews, and cousins.
