Otis Gene Vann Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Gene Vann of Chickasha, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Otis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Otis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vann and Margaret Lucille Pursley (Arrington); his son Blue Joseph Vann; and his siblings, Sharon Faye Raper (Vann), Timmy Pursley, Roy Pursley and Robert "Bobby" Thompson.
He is survived by: his brothers, Barry Thompson (Lily Thompson) and Mike Vann. He is also survived by his grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gospel Church (722 N 10th St, Chickasha, OK 73018).
