She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Slee and Delia Slee; her husband Joe Gene Russell; her brother Melvan "Tom" Slee; and her sons-in-law, Robert Rempe and John "Butch" Downes.

She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Rempe of Anadarko, OK.; and her grandson Michael Rempe (Lori) of Shiner, TX.. She is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews as well as several wonderful friends.
