It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Tenvel Bryant (Chickasha, Oklahoma), born in Wellston, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Fred of Vernon, T. J., Russell and Opal. He is survived by: his wife Clara Blunt; his children, Willie Bryant, Leroy Bryant, Jan Hilburn (Julius), Vanessa Palmer, Wanez Fletcher (Amiel), Pam Ates, Felicia Graham (Michael) and Chris Bryant; his grandchildren, Russett Johnson, Nashema Simpson (Rick), Rodney Ates, Amiel LaTour Fletcher, Aveirial Johnson, Deidre Johnson, Romby Bryant (Melissa), Bryan Hilburn (Tiffany), Kenan Palmer, Brandon Bryant, Chaundra Bryant, Jillian Benson (Lenny), Justin Hilburn, Nikita Johnson (Andre), Tasheka Bryant, Willie Bryant, Robin Hood and Chancelor Graham; and his caregiver Roy. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (304 W Colorado Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018).
