He was predeceased by: his parents, G. C. Tate and Juanita Lee Tate; his wife Annie Fayrene Tate; and his sister Jean Logue. He is survived by: his son-in-law Gary Lynn Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Bob Logue (Holly), Chuck Logue (Susan), Sherry Logue Preas and Crystal Logue Butler (Guy); Dian Davis Johnson and Susan Davis Feller. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a veterans' organization in Billy's memory.
