It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Turner of Choctaw, Oklahoma, born in Altus, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Lena Sue Douglas; her husband Chet Turner; her father Floyd Douglas; and her brother Kenneth Douglas. She is survived by : her children, Kevin Turner of Choctaw, Debbie Barr (John) and Leslee Clay (Craig) of Choctaw; and her grandchildren, Brandon Turner (Diana), Joseph Turner, Bryan Eastman, Hannah Armstrong (Tyler), Sam Shelton (Stephanie), Cherity Burke (Cody), Carson Clay, Ashlynn and Madison Stearman (Cooley).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Barnes Friederich Funeral Home (1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Harrah Church (101 Dobbs Rd, Harrah, OK 73045).
