He was predeceased by : his parents, William Vaughn and Lennie Vaughn (Burson); and his siblings, William Vaughn, David Vaughn, Gerald Vaughn of Sandusky, Oklahoma, Al Vaughn, Tom Vaughn, Helen Gaiche and Juanita Williamson.
He is survived by : his wife Kathryn Vaughn; his children, John Windel Vaughn Jr. (Trudy Johnson), Claude William Vaughn (Regina) of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Jeanette Harp (Terry) of Locust Grove, Norma Diane Vaughn of Wagoner, Barbara Vaughn Kvittum (Kenny) of Chouteau and Victoria Ann Vaughn of Chouteau, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Naomi Barnett of Catoosa, Linda Shaw of Collinsville, Verna Lee Moss of Neosho and Jody Blakemore of Springdale, Arkansas.
