JANELL TEPERA wrote a sympathy message

“Otis, Allen, Linda, and I riding bikes from Cameron to Buckholts! Who knew those tiny inclines were actual mountains when peddling in the hot Texas summer sun. Sneaking into the Cameron Country Club late at night, for no good reason other than to see if we could. Such fun, youthful memories of a wonderful person. Peace be with his family.”

Colette Mc wrote a sympathy message

“Al is an incredible lost to his family because he was an incredible man. He was truly kind. I don’t think he ever spoke a harsh word against anyone. He was always about family and that was his driving force. His daughters and I knew we were always adored by him. His beautiful heart surrounds us always. His smile and eyes I adored, his voice was a calming force within me. I was swept away by him through our entire time together. I was so blessed by him being in my life and so honored to be his wife. We loved his laughter as it filled our souls with smiles. I always loved how he loved his parents and the great respect he showed to them. He loved his banter with his daughters as much as they did with him. He was a playful father, dancing and signing, always keeping us laughing. When he was serious we listened because what he had to say was worthy of hearing. He was a just and fair man. He hurt in silence for those things that troubled him. He took such excellent care of me when I went through my illness. He truly was the one perfect man for me for life. He was someone his family adored and wanted more of in the sense of loving him more and needing to be near him. It’s a loss we won’t get over because we will continue to cherish him and love him forever.”

Joe Wallace wrote a sympathy message

““Otis” and I grew up together in Cameron, Texas. We were good friends from the 6th grade thru graduation. I kept up with him through his dad, but I often wished we could visit when he and his family would come back. He was a great guy. Really smart and as friendly as the day is long. I’m sorry for not trying harder to keep in touch. You folks have shared a wonderful life with a really great man. My prayers are for your Comfort and Peace. Joe and Debbie Wallace”
