He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Biard and Jean Biard (Easton); and his niece Kathryn Pain. He is survived by: his friends, Linda Massey and Joel McColl; his wife Linda Biard; his sons, Matt Biard (Kimberly) and Chris Biard (Emma); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Blake, Maverick and Rhett; his sister Susan Pain (Larry); his sister-in-law Judy Branscum (Joe); and his nieces, Julie Woodbury and Allyson Branscum. He is also survived by his family, friends.
