With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Hamilton (Claremore, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Hamilton and Dorothy Hamilton; his pets, Cindy and Pudge; his wife Marilyn; his children, Ken (Tina) of Tulsa, OK, Ty (Robyn) of Tyler, TX and Tammy Bemies (Paul) of Inola, OK; and his sisters, Penny Smith (Robert) of Baton Rouge, LA and Nancy Hamilton of Hutchinson, KS. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

“Dear Marilyn and family, I am at a loss to express how sad I am that Dave has passed. Dave was a primary photographer when I edited Hutch High's Buzz newspaper and Allagaro yearbook. He took excellent photos and I could always count on him. Journalism classes were lots of fun with him (besides being educational). I've been an internet correspondent for years--exchanging info on classmates, newest ships (my brother served⚓ during Viet Nam), and political jokes. He was a fine man. Clare Cameron”
