Duwane left this world on October 22, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee "Bud" Self and Margie Mae Self; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his children, Susan Dobbs (Charlie) and James Self (Leeanna); his siblings, Terry Self and Linda Spence; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Colten, Gunner, Cody, Huly and Sidnie. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
