It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estel Thayne Smith of Claremore, Oklahoma, born in Healy, Kansas, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bliss Smith and Myrtle Ruby Smith (Nolte); his former wife Doris Ruth Smith Thompson (Burgert); and his wife Joan Marie Hansen Smith (Nail). He is survived by: his son Kellard Smith (Jennie Scott Smith); and his stepchildren, Jeff Hansen, Patti Braun (Allen), Richard Hansen (Jane) and Kim Giebler (John). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
