It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grover Shields (Claremore, Oklahoma), born in Disney, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Getter Shields and Sarah Shields (Jones); his son James Shields; and his siblings, George, James, Steve, Kenneth, Velma McGill and Mary Lou Geyger.
He is survived by: his family Loyd; his wife Laura Holden; his children, Gordon Shields, Clinton Holden (Alisha), Brian Holden (Jennifer) and Debbie Shields; his grandchildren, Aubrey Sparks, Garrett Shields, Reece, Cayce, Justin, Peyton, Hannah, Abby, Elizabeth and Joseph Holden; his great grandchildren, Raiden, Paisen Sparks, Robin, Judith, Korra, Asher Rodriguez, Taylor and Brighty Holden; and his sister Dora Shields. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
