He is survived by: his wife Denise McKnight; his children, Kayshawna McKnight, Dawneice McKnight, Dawneisha McKnight, Derecka McKnight Phelps (Travis Phelps), Katrina McKnight, Julian Floyd McKnight, Dereck McKnight Jr., Kayauna McKnight-Rayton (Jamesha Rayton McKnight) and Jayviantae McKnight; his brother Rontonio McKnight; his grandchildren, Shay'Briana Caldwell, Desean Caldwell Jr., Mari'A O'Neal, Dakorriun Ross, Dewun O'Neal, Evianuna Ross, Imani Torrez, Amarion, Amari O'Neal, Heavenly Ross, Trevor Phelps, Zy'aire McKnight-Rayton and Baby Ross; his aunts and uncles, Herbert Floyd, Jr., Henry O'Neal Floyd, David "Sammy" Floyd (Cyndy), Lesa Parker, Michelle Kincaid and Teresa Bywaters; and his nieces and nephews, Jazmire McKnight, Raymona McKnight, Dakota Neuman, Dametrea Lockhart, Donnie Lockhart, Brianna Lockhart and Abrea Lockhart. He is also survived by cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel (723 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A repast was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 901 SW Robinson Ave, Topeka, KS 66606.
