He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Daugherty and Velva O'Dell Fenton-Daugherty; his wife Betty Jean Dilldine; his son Guy Daugherty; and his siblings, Thomas Daugherty Jr. and Jean Daugherty-Ferrel.

He is survived by: his sons, Arnie Daugherty of Bartlesville, Okla and Jimmy (Sharon Daugherty). He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
