With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Walden Burke (Claremore, Oklahoma), born in Miami, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 18, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burke and Regina Burke (Moore); his former wife Joyce Burke; his daughter Jaime Thompson; his brother Dale; his sister-in-law Lucille Burke; and his siblings, Gerald Burke and Virginia Burke Perkins.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Vicki Ludiker (Steve Ludiker) of Tulsa, OK and Debbie Baab (Mike Baab) of Tulsa, OK.; his wife Ruth Burke; and his daughters, Terri (Jimmy Short) of Collinsville, OK, Kelly (Larry Karkosky) of Skiatook, OK and Tracy (Rocky Turner) of Skiatook, OK. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, family has asked donations be made in James honor and name to the Cedar Point Church Kid's Building Fund in Claremore, Oklahoma, or to the charity of your choice.
