She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Cardin; her husband Jack L. Spurgeon, Sr.; her brothers, Earl Cardin, Stanley Cardin, Ted Cardin and Todd Cardin; and her great grandchild Gabriel Wimberley.
She is survived by: her son John Spurgeon of Ashdown, Ark; her daughter-in-law Debbie Spurgeon; her siblings, Bill Cardin, Louise Savoie, Joann Vlancek, Kitty Coffman, Sandy McLaughlin and Alma Klingelsmith; and her grandchildren, Jeanette, Eric, Melissa, Lacey and Courtney.
