We announce the death of Jessie Starkey of Claremore, Oklahoma, born in Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 95. Jessie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his son Darren Lee Starkey; his parents, Lloyd Starkey Sr. and Hazel Starkey; and his brother James "Spat" Starkey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Starkey (Dollard); his sons, David Wayne Starkey and Jerry Lee Starkey (Anya); his sister Wanda Rea (Ramond); his sister-in-law Rosemary Starkey; and his grandchildren, Samantha Wilson (Caleb), Tyler Starkey (Abbie), Zachary Starkey (Katie), Kimberlynn Denn (Tyler), Tristan Starkey, Casey Starkey, Michael Lindsey, Dillan Starkey and Demetrius Cummings. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
