He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Amos and Autrie Brownlee; his daughter Trena Rogers; his sisters, Gloria Edmonds, Ella Boyles and Louise Lewis; and his niece Chaka Boyles.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Amos of Claremore; his children, Buffy Rogers of Tulsa, John Ford of Muskogee, Jennifer Rogers of Tulsa, Lewanda Amos of Tulsa and Amanda Amos of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his brother Charles Amos of Jenks, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
